Welcome to our web site!
The Northern Virginia Carvers is a not-for-profit association
organized in 1973 with a primary purpose to promote community
interest in the art and craft of woodcarving
Our members are primarily from the Northern Virginia, Maryland,
and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas, but anyone is welcome
to participate. We meet on a regular basis to carve, help
others learn or improve their woodcarving ability, demonstrate
carving at selected public events, and participate in public
service activities
